Project description.
The gas pipeline will transport 150 MMscfd with an initial pressure of 1,200 psig to supply natural gas to 31 municipalities in the north zone of Colombia.
Scope of work
Performed Technical and Administrative Consulting services for ECOPETROL during the construction of the Ballena Gas pipeline. Monitor the technical, administrative, financial and socio‑environmental areas of the contract with Centragas for the construction, operation and maintenance of the 575 km. 18” gas pipeline and 160 km. of branches..
Project description
The gas pipeline system consists of a 20 inch mainline with an approximate length of 340 Km. between the municipalities of Mariquita and Cali and laterals to 47 other municipalities along the same route with an approximate total length of 424 Km., each with a terminal station (city gate). The system has an inlet pressure at Mariquita of 1,200 psig and a delivery pressure in Cali of 250 psig..
